Octoberfest in Big Bear

Octoberfest in Big Bear is back again for the 41st year. The annual beer drinking, sing along, Austrian dancing and food festival continues every weekend through October. Like no other, this Octoberfest or Oktoberfest if you prefer is one of Big Bear's classic events. Along with all the fun and silliness, we have log rolling, sawing, polkas' macarana, chicken dances and a whole lot of food.
This year on tap in the "bier garden" is Warsteiner Pilsner, Warsteiner Dunkel, Warsteiner Oktoberfest, King Ludwig Hefeweisen, Landshark, Shock Top, Shock Top Pumpkin. Shock Top Rasberry along with wine and soft drinks for the kids. And if you have a little too much Oktoberfest fun, the O'douls shuttle will cart you home free of charge.
You'll see lots of "lederhosen", "bier steins" and see some fun contests like the giant beer mug run and our German bands will be playing all day long. The kids can ride the bulls, play in the "kinder garten", make crafts and dress up for the Halloween contest. And of course, there will be lots of dancing.
Yes it's fun to get away for the weekend. The festival is open Saturday and Sunday at 12 noon, till midnight on Saturday and 5:30PM on Sunday. One admission tickets gets you in, food, drink, fun for the weekend. Get a group of friends and come on up for a couple of nights. We'll take good care of ya.
