Weather in Big Bear

Weather is the news again. More like... Snow. Big Bear keeps getting a few more inches of snow with each rain in Los Angeles. These conditions are the best they have ever been for the local mountain resorts. The base snow level is between 5 and 7 feet and it is staying fresh for good skiing and riding. It is also good for snow play like making snowmen and sledding

The two popular ski resorts Snow Summit and Bear Mountain produce Ski Reports with the latest conditions on the slopes. You can also get the current road conditions by calling 1-800-GAS ROADS which you should do before coming up to make sure all highways are open. Don't forget your chains or 4wd as if the roads are snowy, you will need them.
